A few years ago the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) acquired the Brooksville Agricultural and Environmental Research Station (BAERS) from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).  Today, FAMU seeks to use this property for the next generation of agriculture, which will include a Solar Farm, among other things.  Davis George Moye has been appointed to the committee to assess proposals and to advise the university on the best options for how to accomplish its goals.  More details will be made available once the project is complete.
